- Alanya
The
large popular resort center of Alanya
lies at one end of a rocky promontory
which juts out into the Mediterranean
between two long sandy beaches. A 13th
century Seljuk fortress one of the most
magnificent sights on the coast crowns
the headland. About 150 towers punctuate
the walls of the well- preserved, double
walled citadel. Within the outer walls
are ruins of mosques, a caravanserai
and a covered bazaar in the inner walls
are a ruined cistern and a Byzantine
church. Although Alanya's history dates
back to Roman times, it rose to prominence
under the Seljuks, when in 1220, Alaeddin
Keykubat made it his winter residence
and naval base.
There are twisting narrow alleyways
tempting shoppers with their colourful
boutiques and stalls of cheese-cloth
dresses, carpets, copper and jewelry.
As well as its cultural and historical
sights, Alanya has an unbeatable beach
life too. Beautiful sandy Cleopatra
beach lies to the west of the resort
while the fine sands of Alanya beach
stretch to the east. A good range of
water sports are available too.
The nightlife is easy-going and relaxed
with a wide choice of night-spots located
at the edge of town. Take your pick
from lively bars to late-night discos
for real night-owls. Alanya is truly
a holiday makers paradise.
The
nearest airport is Antalya which is a

- Altinkum
Altinkum
is a relatively new resort that is becoming
more and more popular. The beach is
magnificent, and there is a large selection

clubs.
It

Bodrum
is a lively resort, a town with a buzz.
It is a small town with no real beach
but some very nice shops and restaurants,
especially the Harbor side Seafood Restaurants.
This town only really comes alive at night.
So best suiting those who like to party
all night and sleep all day. This resort
attracts thousands of young holiday makers
each year. But you only have to travel
a few kilometers out of town to find some
very nice quite small resorts with lots
of beautiful holiday homes to suit all
tastes, giving you the best of both worlds.
Bodrum
Airport is only 20 minutes away.
In
the Bodrum area we presently have some
wonderful properties in Yalikavak and
Gumusluk. These properties are proving
to be very popular.
Gumusluk
This is a beautiful area with a peaceful
village that is one of the oldest settlements
on the Bodrum peninsula. This is becoming
a very popular location. It is not too
far from Bodrum about 20 minuets by car
or Dolmus. There is also a very good Dolmus
service to and from the nearby resorts.
The village is still a lively fishing
port, has several nice Seafood Restaurants
and Bars. The local shops are worth visiting,
if you can pull yourself away from the
beach. Once the ancient city of Myndos,
the village is now in a conservation area,
so no cars are allowed in the centre.
The westerly aspect of Gumusluk provides
some spectacular sunsets.

The St. Tropez of the peninsula! Yalikavak
used to be just a cluster of houses on
the quay. Now a brand new multi million-dollar
marina has recently been constructed.
